Islais Watershed needs your help!!
We’d like to invite you to join us and other neighborhood residents and workers in a meeting to discuss ways to restore the Islais Creek watershed. The SFPUC is currently developing “green” projects to reduce the amount of rainfall that ends up in the sewer, and that creates an opportunity to develop a plan that provides multiple benefits to the community, including greener neighborhoods, reduced flooding, and new habitat opportunities.
We need your local expertise – please join us to talk about the needs and opportunities in the Islais watershed!! This is the largest watershed in the City, encompassing all or part of 11 neighborhoods, from Noe Valley to India Basin, and Crocker Amazon to Dogpatch. Actions taken in the upper watershed can have a huge impact downstream – we can help make that impact a positive one!!
If you can make it, we’d appreciate an RSVP to vdu...@cleanwater.org
