Hello All:

The 2012 California Annual WateReuse Conference will be held this year in beautiful Monterey Bay from March 17 through March 19.  The Conference will offer  several events and tours.  It will also offer key political and technical speakers that showcase the region.  The WateReuse Northern California Chapter is the local host chapter.  The planning committee has been working on this conference for several months.  This year’s conference is shaping up to be a great one!  The schedule of events and technical session can be found in the following link: https://www.watereuse.org/sites/default/files/u8/Registration%20Brochure%20Web-Ready.pdf

The Northern California Chapter is currently looking for volunteers to serve as session Room Monitors for the technical sessions.  A Room Monitor is needed for each session. The duties of the room monitor is as follows:

The Room Monitor will be responsible for delivering the tent signs for each speaker, session evaluation forms, and checking on the A/V set-up, etc. The monitor will arrive 15 minutes before the session begins and check to see that the tent signs are in the order of the presentations, with the first being closest to the podium. The monitor will also manage traffic at the door and hand out and pick up the session evaluation forms among other duties.

 

A total of 16 room monitors are needed.  If you are interested, please contact:

Please provide any schedule limitations and session preferences (1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd) you may have in your reply and they will do their best to accommodate you. 

Please respond NO LATER than Friday, February 1.  A few conference calls will be conducted to coordinate the logistics prior to the conference.

If you cannot commit for one of these support roles, other volunteer jobs that have less time commitment are available.  Please let me know if you wish to volunteer and indicate your availability.
