Remembering Graeme MacQueen: Series of events to mark one year since the beloved scholar’s passing

Events will include film screenings in Boston, MA, and Bath, UK, as well as the online symposium “From National Security to Biosecurity,” which will feature Dr. Meryl Nass and other researchers of 9/11 and Covid.

On April 25th of last year, the 9/11 truth movement and the world lost a singularly powerful voice in the struggle for lasting peace and justice.

Beloved scholar, teacher, and activist Dr. Graeme MacQueen — a native of Nova Scotia and a professor of religious studies for three decades at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario — dedicated his entire adult life to opposing war and the last 17 years of it to exposing the foremost war-enabling myth of our time: 9/11.

Shortly before he died, MacQueen compiled all of his 9/11-related writings into a single online volume called The Pentagon’s B-Movie. His analysis of war as an all-encompassing system and his research into 9/11 were then memorialized in the Center’s 2023 documentary, Peace, War and 9/11. Both works are essential for understanding the state of endless war and ubiquitous propaganda our world is mired in today.

Even though his health was declining, MacQueen devoted many hours in the final months of his life to helping form the International Center for 9/11 Justice. He didn’t get to see his work come to fruition, as the Center launched two months after his passing, but he left full of confidence that it would flourish long into the future. Were it not for his early involvement, the Center would probably not be in existence today.

One year later, we pay homage to this great man who educated and inspired us so profoundly.

Over the next month, the Center will commemorate the one-year anniversary of MacQueen’s passing with the four events listed below. Two of them are in-person — one in Boston, Massachusetts, and one in Bath, England — and two are online.

Please join us in honoring Graeme MacQueen and in continuing his life’s mission of ending war and creating lasting peace — a mission that is perhaps more urgent today than at any point in history.

Thursday, April 25: Ted Walter interview with Daniele Ganser

On the one-year anniversary of MacQueen’s passing, IC911 Executive Director Ted Walter will be interviewed by Swiss historian and peace researcher Dr. Daniele Ganser in a video to be released on Ganser’s YouTube channel. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s up!

Sunday, May 5: ‘Peace, War and 9/11’ screening followed by Q&A in Bath, UK

If you’re not too far away, join 9/11 family member Matt Campbell and IC911 Research Director Dr. Piers Robinson for a screening of Peace, War and 9/11 on Sunday, May 5, at 7:00 PM in Bath, UK.

Before the screening, Campbell and Robinson will share the latest on the effort to open a new inquest into Geoff Campbell’s death on 9/11 as well as updates on other IC911 activities. After the screening, there will be a Q&A.

Tickets (£8 advance, £10 at the door) are available at ChapelArts.org.

Tuesday, May 7: ‘Peace, War and 9/11’ screening followed by panel discussion in Boston, MA

If you can make it to Boston, please join us for a special screening of Peace, War and 9/11 at the beautiful Somerville Theatre on Tuesday, May 7, at 7:00 PM.

Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with Ted Walter (co-director of the film), Massachusetts anti-war organizer Marty Schotz, and renowned writer Edward Curtin, who was a close friend of MacQueen the last few years of his life. The panel discussion will be moderated by Richard Krushnic of Boston 9/11 Truth.

Tickets, which are $16 for adults and $12 for seniors, are available at SomervilleTheatre.com. Student tickets, also $12, can be purchased only at the door.

Sunday, May 19: From ‘National Security’ to ‘Biosecurity’ — An Online Symposium

The last of our events honoring our dear friend Graeme MacQueen will be the online symposium From ‘National Security’ to ‘Biosecurity’: Global Power Dynamics and the Erosion of Freedom in the 21st Century.

This professionally livestreamed event will take place on Sunday, May 19, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern at UKColumn.org.

IC911 board member Marilyn Langlois and Ted Walter will give opening remarks. Featured speakers will include Dr. Niels Harrit, Dr. Piers Robinson, Dr. Madhava Setty, and Dr. Meryl Nass.

IC911 board member David Chandler will introduce the latter two speakers, who are less known in the 9/11 research community but are on the front lines of the health freedom community. Dr. Nass is a leading critic of the WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty, which she will be speaking on ahead of an important vote by WHO member nations next month.

MacQueen was deeply skeptical of the Covid narrative and spent much time studying it as well as opposing Covid measures in Canada. This symposium is dedicated to honoring his thinking about the Covid event and its relationship to 9/11.

Throughout the talks of all four featured speakers, we will analyze the parallels and connections between 9/11 and Covid and the actors behind them and also seek to build stronger ties between the overlapping 9/11 and Covid research communities.

Please save the date of May 19th and stay tuned for more information!

Please give today to forge the next chapter in the pursuit of 9/11 justice.
