Kathy McGrade, of ae911truth.org will be speaking in San Jose.
Janet Kobren, who is a survivor from the Free Gaza Flotilla will
be joining us for a potluck dinner on Thursday at 6 pm, prior to our next
meeting (which starts between 7 & 7:30 usually). It will be our
last meeting before our MANY events. We really do need
help/volunteers/participants/outreach for the upcoming 9/11 Truth Film
Festivals and our 9th Annuall 9/11 Truth Rally?March to the 12th Annual

Alliance will have 3 10' x 10' spaces- room for two free literature
booths and one non-profit vendor's booth (We still need another awning

The first hour 6 - 7 pm will be a potluck with Janet Kobren to share her experiences on the Gaza Flotilla, and the ever changing political situation in the struggle for human rights, peace, justice in Palestine. It will be our last meeting before our MANY events. The room is part of the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalist complex that has held many outstanding social justice forums at Cedar and Bonita, located past the courtyard behind the main hall, up the stairs.
There are many buses (the 15 runs on MLKJr.) and on Shattuck. Get off near Cedar (Bonita runs parallel to Shattuck and MLKJr.) It is between the North Berkeley and Downtown Berkeley BART Stations- about a 12 to 15 minute flat easy walk from those stations.

Following the attacks of September 11th, the first "9/11 Truth Rally and March" took place in 2002, the Panhandle, marching up Haight Street and through Golden Gate Park to the Power to the Peaceful Festival. Every year since then, we have gathered in the Panhandle and paraded/marched to the Festival.-
Our rally begins at 10:00 am @ the Panhandle (between Oak and Fell at Ashbury)
11:00 am we begin our march up Ashbury to Haight, through Golden Gate Park to Speedway Meadows and to the Festival which lasts until 5:00 pm.
John Fitzgerald, a serious campaigner for 9/11 Truth will be one of our featured speakers. Local activist, song writer, Vic Sadot will perform some of his songs at the rally, and during our march. David Chandler, physics teacher, video producer, compelling critic of the official 9/11 report, and Janet Kobren, local activist, a Gaza Freedom Flotilla Survivor, and Zachary Running Wolf, local native elder, encouraging a driving boycott will also speak.
Satyagraha - Truth Force was born when people gathered together, in their struggle against empire and racism in South Africa. On September 11, 1906, at a public meeting attended by 3000 people where Gandhi spoke, Sheth haji Habib, an old Muslim resident of South Africa, was inspired to consciously speak out and state his decision to act in defiance of an unjust law, that targeted the Indian population of South Africa. Habib declared his willingness to suffer the consequences in a spiritually-endowed fight for justice in the name of God. The theory of satyagraha sees means and ends as inseparable. The means used to obtain an end are wrapped up in and attached to that end. Therefore, it is contradictory to try to use unjust means to obtain justice or to try to use violence to obtain peace. Satyagraha is a synthesis of the Sanskrit words satya (meaning "truth") and Agraha ("pursuit of"). Gandhi believed that life itself is a the pursuit of truth. For Gandhi, satyagraha became strength in practicing non-violent methods, or in his words "the Force which is born of Truth and Love or non-violence." Martin Luther King Jr. defined it as "Love in Action."

The spirit of satyagraha, truth force, non-violent resistance, has never been more needed than in today's world and will be the theme of this year's march. We welcome all who are for 9/11 Truth, Peace, an End to War, Repeal of the Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act. Bring banners, signs, costumes, musical instruments, your humor, energy, messages. The Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance will have a booth at the Concert and pass out literature to the thousands who come to the Festival and support peace.

The first hour 6 - 7 pm will be a potluck with Janet Kobren to share her experiences on the Gaza Flotilla, and the ever changing political situation in the struggle for human rights, peace, justice in Palestine. It will be our last meeting before our MANY events. We really do need help/volunteers/participants/outreach for the upcoming 9/11 Truth Film Festivals and our 9th Annuall 9/11 Truth Rally?March to the 12th Annual Power to the Peaceful Festival, where ae911truth.org and No Ca 9/11 Truth Alliance will have 3 10' x 10' spaces- room for two free literature booths and one non-profit vendor's booth (We still need another awning and volunteers). There are many exciting new developments happening across the world. Come to the meeting to hear about them and how you can contribute/help.
The room is part of the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalist complex that has held many outstanding social justice forums at Cedar and Bonita, located past the courtyard behind the main hall, up the stairs.
There are many buses (the 15 runs on MLKJr.) and on Shattuck. Get off near Cedar (Bonita runs parallel to Shattuck and MLKJr.) It is between the North Berkeley and Downtown Berkeley BART Stations- about a 12 to 15 minute flat easy walk from those stations.

Following the attacks of September 11th, the first "9/11 Truth Rally and March" took place in 2002, the Panhandle, marching up Haight Street and through Golden Gate Park to the Power to the Peaceful Festival. Every year since then, we have gathered in the Panhandle and paraded/marched to the Festival.-
Our rally begins at 10:00 am @ the Panhandle (between Oak and Fell at Ashbury)
11:00 am we begin our march up Ashbury to Haight, through Golden Gate Park to Speedway Meadows and to the Festival which lasts until 5:00 pm.
John Fitzgerald, a serious campaigner for 9/11 Truth will be one of our featured speakers. Local activist, song writer, Vic Sadot will perform some of his songs at the rally, and during our march. David Chandler, physics teacher, video producer, compelling critic of the official 9/11 report, and Janet Kobren, local activist, a Gaza Freedom Flotilla Survivor, and Zachary Running Wolf, local native elder, encouraging a driving boycott will also speak.
Satyagraha - Truth Force was born when people gathered together, in their struggle against empire and racism in South Africa. On September 11, 1906, at a public meeting attended by 3000 people where Gandhi spoke, Sheth haji Habib, an old Muslim resident of South Africa, was inspired to consciously speak out and state his decision to act in defiance of an unjust law, that targeted the Indian population of South Africa. Habib declared his willingness to suffer the consequences in a spiritually-endowed fight for justice in the name of God. The theory of satyagraha sees means and ends as inseparable. The means used to obtain an end are wrapped up in and attached to that end. Therefore, it is contradictory to try to use unjust means to obtain justice or to try to use violence to obtain peace. Satyagraha is a synthesis of the Sanskrit words satya (meaning "truth") and Agraha ("pursuit of"). Gandhi believed that life itself is a the pursuit of truth. For Gandhi, satyagraha became strength in practicing non-violent methods, or in his words "the Force which is born of Truth and Love or non-violence." Martin Luther King Jr. defined it as "Love in Action."

The Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance will have a booth at the Concert and pass out literature to the thousands who come to the Festival and support peace.
