Hey all,
The version of me that trains for cross-country races has officially retired and I'm back to riding when our bay area weather is beautiful (which is to say, most of the time).
So in order to make room (in the garage, and in the marriage) for a potential N+1 bike, it's time to get rid of the indoor trainer setup. This consists of the Kinetic Road Machine / Smart 2 trainer, a front wheel block, and a floor pad. Everything is in good working order.
* This trainer is easy to mount/unmount as you don't have to remove the rear tire or deal with the chain.
* It's compatible with most head units e.g. I used my Garmin Edge 840.
* It adds resistance based on wheel speed. To set a target power, you just pedal faster or slower; To set a target cadence, you shift up or down.
I've listed them on FB Marketplace here, if you'd like to see photos.
But honestly, the trainer was a hand-me-down, and the block & pad weren't very expensive, so if you're a participating SF2G member, and you can come to get this stuff from me in SF, the price could be discounted as low as "free".
Cheers,
Andy
