Someone I know found a van moof S3 outside her gate, no motor, unlocked. She is going to bring it in and put it on Craigslist to see if she can find an owner. Any of you missing one? Police said it wasn’t reported missing.

Thanks, it’s not on the list. I’ll keep checking for it and she has reported to SFPD.

I think that it makes recovery easier from the owners perspective. It could help for police reporting where certain persons might not record this data normally. The police could use it if they were so inclined for aiding recovery return. I use it when I buy used bikes to prevent from buying something stolen and if I found the original owner I'd share with them the info in hopes to aid in recovery.
