Hello

My Urban 400 refuses to charge. I've left it to charge overnight but doesn't help, the charging light shows green when the plug is in but when I unplug and press on the power button I get the flashing red light.

Anyone else faced this problem also does anyone know the replacement policy?

Thanks

Aamir

Your light might be in the "Travel Lock Out Mode" which prevents it from turning on. You can unlock it by holding the button for 4 seconds (https://lightmotion.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200205069-Travel-Lock-Out-Mode-Urban-Solite-Taz).

Thanks Paul, will try that once I get back home. Hope it's that :)

Also.. Light and Motion rocks on returns.. Worst case if it's a defective unit.. they will probably just give you a new one.

Returned my tail light that filled up with water on a rain ride.. they gave me a brand new unit.

Cara and I have warranted two L&M lights so far, a front and a rear, and will likely do #3 which spontaneously turns on in the middle of the night (when it's cool?) draining the charge.  So if it's not a problem with lock-out, consider the light may be faulty.

Yes, if it's defective just call them and they'll send you a new one no questions asked usually.

But do first check the travel mode...I emailed support and they very nicely suggested to do so... of course, I'd not read the manual. :)

But then when the replacement doesn't work, things get a bit frustrating.

I can confirm now, my light was in the travel mode! Thanks everyone for their help!
