Quick steady pace. As a bonus it looks like there will be a tailwind tomorrow.

-1. I stayed late. Caltrain clobbered somebody. I get to sleep in
Palo Alto's luxurious Travellodge. Stoke.

I dropped off Hobe at Google at 9:30 AM. Your excuse is laughable. We
fart in your general direction through translucent green shorts!

Really fun ride in the wind! I didn't realize how lovely the tailwind
was until I turned around and rode home in the headwind :-)

Fair enough, gotta take that one on the chin, given those tailwinds.

I must be late to the skipping EPA shenanigans. Now it all makes sense . Not doing sf2g for a month, leaving the country, not keeping up with the archives catches up to you...I lost you guys after the long straightaway right before San Mateo. I attacked and I THOUGHT I heard someone say 'crossing the bridge?', which didn't register at the time. I was kindly followed a bit, then having realized what's going on, I turned around and unsuccessfully attempted to follow the group. I ended up riding solo via Middlefield through Redwood City and Atherton and made it in in ok time. Barisway I suppose? Apologies for the confusion.

At any rate, good to be back!

Hey Baris,

Sorry about that.  Murph and I were behind you but a bit back but then after talking ourselves out of the mess that the BTN lead up was likely to be after last nights rain we opted for the dry pavement of Veterans -> Maple route.

No apologies needed Steve! Just wanted to be sure I didn't miss out on any major changes in the traditional route as I'd been mia. Sounds like business as usual then. You guys made a reasonable choice considering the rain from yesterday.
