I'm toying with the idea of physically going to work one day this week (novel, right?) and I'm curious if anyone knows the condition of bayway these days.  I know there had been some pretty disruptive construction at some point in the recent past, but I haven't actually ridden it in 2ish years at this point so I have no idea what's up.

Anyone have intel?

I rode the southern half yesterday. Actually just University north to airport.

There's a new-ish 'gravel roubaix' fenced-in section next to the few remaining houseboats. Still connects.
There's construction on the levees just north of Oracle and the trail is closed there - but they left a gap in the fence. Not sure if you could go through during working hours.
The levee just north of the water stop is closed - easy to 'cross carry your bike around the two fences, but maybe not during working hours. I took the official detour through the neighborhood on my return trip and it's mostly bike path, so fine.
Construction seems to be done @ Oculus/FB/Meat just north of Coyote Point. Normal after that.

There are 2 main detours in effect right now:
1. just before the water stop, you can't get on "high voltage dash" in the normal way.
2. just before Oracle, you can't get to the little bridge crossing thingy in the normal way.

Impressive intel, all.  Your wisdom knows no bounds!  Thanks!
