recently (last weekend) had to switch from a chris king bb-30 (lost
the adapter) to a stock shimano bottom bracket on the road. well a
bike shop did it and i didnt get to watch.

in trying to remove the crank it didnt budge at all which is opposite
of the the crank in the chris king. i know the size is different.

is there any easy instruction set or video that people use on how to
remove a crank out of a stock shimano bottom bracket? searching the
internet gives me all sorts of somewhat related things but not the
exact thing i am looking for.

i shouldnt need to actually remove the bottom bracket to remove the crank right?

Ah i was afraid to use a mallet against the crank.
But it recommends it.
