I'm looking into a possible new MIAS project and I'm wondering what is
the current state of open MIAS, the projects, the school / college
status (including SIMS) and even SIF status.

If anyone is still here I'd love to hear your views and updates on projects

Ah - strange. It's also getting out of date.

It turns out there was a total power outage at our ISP.
Thanks for the heads up.

We're finishing a complete interface redesign of SchoolTool that'll be
in our October release. I should have a preview screencast up next
week. I'd call it a *vast* improvement.

SchoolTool is being piloted or preparing pilots in a number of
different countries, including Nepal and Cambodia, and has been widely
deployed globally as part of the Critical Links Education Appliance,
which is the server part of Intel Classmate deployments.

SIF is still clogging up its space. iirc, one of the main agent
libraries was open sourced recently.

Hey Tom

How are you? And the team?

I was just looking a Schooltool and installed on Natty. It has moved
on since I last looked and good to know is still active.

Is any sort of filing data to authorities on your road map? e.g like SIMS does.
