LATIDOS 2026 is a regional Spanish-language conference created to support and strengthen frontline workers — promotores de salud, community navigators, social workers, outreach staff, and organizations serving Latino families and immigrant communities across the Bay Area.

 

LATIDOS is also an acronym that stands for:

 

Latine Americanos Trabajando por la Inclusión, Diversidad, Organización y Salud

(Latine Americans Working for Inclusion, Diversity, Organization, and Health)

 

The conference was created out of the need for spaces where our communities can come together to learn, share experiences, and build practical tools to respond to the real challenges many families face every day: access to healthcare, emotional wellness, family support, LGBTQ+ inclusion, STI prevention, and community empowerment.

 

The word Latidos means “heartbeats” in Spanish. It represents the heartbeat of our communities — our voices, stories, resilience, and shared experiences. The idea behind LATIDOS is simple but powerful: every person deserves to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity.

 

This year’s theme is:

 

“Voices of the Heart: Families and diversity beating together to forge unity, wellness, and health.”

 

LATIDOS 2026 will take place on:

 

• San Francisco Main Library

• June 3, 2026

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

The conference will bring together participants and organizations from San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties.

 

Throughout the day, participants will experience:

 

• Interactive workshops

• Regional panel discussions

• Community resources

• Conversations around health and wellness

• Opportunities to connect, learn, and strengthen community networks

 

LATIDOS is fully conducted in Spanish and aims to create a welcoming, culturally grounded, and inclusive environment where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

 

We invite you to register, share the information with your networks, and be part of this collective effort to continue strengthening those who support and uplift our Latino and immigrant communities every day.

LATIDOS 2026 es una conferencia regional completamente en español creada para apoyar y fortalecer a trabajadores y trabajadoras de primera línea — promotores/as de salud, navegadores/as de servicios, trabajadores/as sociales, personal comunitario y organizaciones que acompañan a familias latinas y comunidades inmigrantes en el Área de la Bahía.

LATIDOS también es un acrónimo que representa:

Latine Americanos Trabajando por la Inclusión, Diversidad, Organización y Salud.

La conferencia nace de la necesidad de crear espacios donde nuestra comunidad pueda reunirse, aprender, compartir experiencias y encontrar herramientas prácticas para responder a los retos que vivimos todos los días: acceso a la salud, bienestar emocional, apoyo familiar, inclusión LGBTQ+, prevención de ITS y fortalecimiento comunitario.

El nombre LATIDOS representa algo muy simple pero muy poderoso: el corazón de nuestra comunidad. Nuestros latidos, nuestras voces y nuestras historias. La idea detrás de LATIDOS es recordar que todas las personas merecen ser escuchadas, acompañadas y tratadas con dignidad.

El tema de este año es:

“Voces del Corazón: Familias y diversidad laten juntas forjando unión, bienestar y salud.”

Este mensaje busca reconocer la importancia de construir comunidad desde la empatía, el respeto y el apoyo mutuo, especialmente en momentos donde muchas familias enfrentan estrés, aislamiento, barreras lingüísticas y desafíos de salud física y emocional.

 

LATIDOS 2026 se llevará a cabo el:

• Biblioteca Central de San Francisco
• 3 de junio de 2026
• 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

La conferencia reunirá participantes y organizaciones de San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Mateo y Santa Clara.
