This position is critical to supporting DHCS’ workforce and ensuring compliance with personnel laws, regulations, and bargaining unit contracts.

Position Highlights:
- Title: Human Resources Analyst

- Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide HR services including recruitment, classification, performance management, labor relations, payroll, benefits, and disability programs
✅ Coordinate with CalHR policies and ensure compliance across DHCS divisions
✅ Contribute to strategic HR initiatives that strengthen DHCS’ workforce and operational goals
HRD includes three branches:
✔
Classification, Data, and Compliance Branch (CDCB): Manages classifications, organizational structures, and HR modernization initiatives
✔
Payroll, Benefits, and Health Management Branch (PBHMB): Oversees payroll, benefits, and disability leave programs
✔
Selection and Recruitment Branch (SRB): Leads hiring activities, examinations, and recruitment strategies
