Marin County Safe Routes to Schools seeks a Program Director to lead organization-wide education and encouragement programs, including the nationally acclaimed Safe Routes to Schools (SR2S) program. A key leader in MCBC’s vision to “spread the joy of bicycling,” the Director oversees a team of eight part-time staff promoting safe, active and shared travel for K–12 schools.   See the full job announcement here Marin County was among the first Safe Route programs in the US dating back to 2000.  It has dedicated funding through the Transportation Authority of Marin.   This is an opportunity to shape a mature and funded program for the future.
