Training: Mentoring Youth Exposed to Trauma

Hi All,
I know that many of the youth we serve have been impacted by various traumas.
We are offering a training to our mentors next Thursday from 4-6pm (I know the timing may be rough for some) and we would like to open it up to the Coalition. Feel free to join us at Everett Middle School next Thursday...


Ever wonder why it's so hard for you to form a relationship with your mentee? Or how they don't seem to believe what you are saying? Ever wonder what to do or say when you hear your mentee has experienced a trauma, or several traumas?



This training will provide you some ways to think about your mentee and your relationship, how trauma can affect a young person's way of living in the world and how to support them as a caring adult in their life.
