Does anyone have experience observing at Lake San Antonio North
campground? I'm thinking of going there with my family to camp and be
able to observe from my campground at night. It looks like it has
reasonably clear horizons (especially compared to most forested
campgrounds), it has flush toilets (a must for us), and isn't fully
booked out.

Thanks, Joshua

That shore was closed for many years. I've been camping and observing with my 12" there around 2007 last time. It was crowded and noisy, but there were no problems setting up and staying all night. The views were the same as from the field of dreams later. Just keep in mind that that shore is lower and might catch vapor from both lakes (dew).
