For those with wider interests, this is not astronomy-related, but park-related: The Nevada Museum of Art in Reno has an exhibit about ichthyosaurs, including fossils from Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Historic Park, through January 11, 2026. I have not seen it yet, but my wife and I visit the museum three times a year or so, so I expect I will see it well before IchthyoStar.

The Nevada Museum of Art is a great medium-sized art museum, which we have been members of for a few years. Although they have art from local, national, and international artists, some of their best exhibits are regional, featuring art and artists from the western US.

Sounds awesome! Thank you for sharing!

I'm also wondering if we could extend the participation by coordinating sharing already booked campsites? Like: if some folks are coming solo and would not mind an as well solo buddy in a separate tent across the site. Myself, I'm camping even without a tent, often unpacking and rigging only my hammock stand sleeping system when needed. I guess it also depends on the number of cars allowance.
