Dew is almost always a problem at the lake until the summer heat. Part of the reason is proximity to Paso area with the not uncommon 50 splits, I call it. Just the other day it was 45 in the early am and for an hour maybe less 95.
The trick is to keep equipment warm and prolong the night, otherwise call at midnight. I get to about 1am most times this way.
