Was able to find C/2025 A6 Lemmon just after sunset from the backyard in Palo Alto.
Initially found it using 20x80 binos.
Then also found it with the 4.3” refractor.
I thought I might be confusing the blob for M3, but the blob had zero resolvable stars… so I concluded it’s a comet.
Oh.. also confirmed the stars in the 20x80 FOV w/ SkySafari.
No discernible tail but I think that’s expected.

I was out around the same time as Jeff but fortunate to have darker sky and clear view to the west from Carmel Valley. The comet was fairly easy to spot with 12x60 binoculars. Once I knew where to look, it was barely visible in a DSLR viewfinder. Attached is a stack of 20 30s exposures that showed a 3-4 degrees tail. I am not sure if I made out the tail visually. Will try harder tonight. It is supposed to get brighter in coming days.

Nice picture from Carmel valley.
Sunday night I setup the Seestar S50 .. and it did not disappoint. This is a single 3 minute exposure… I have several, so I might be able to pull out a bit better quality.
