With Pinnacles NP west entrance parking lot no longer available for stargazing, I suppose that I should check out the southwest parking lot at the peak.  It's been over a decade since I've been there.

Per Astrospheric, the weather forecast looks very favorable.

Company welcome.  Safety in numbers.  I and a friend plan to arrive by 4:00pm.  We'll probably be done by 10:00pm, if the dew doesn't defeat us sooner.

I think wind might be the weather issue for Thursday at FP, not dew.  Forecast of wind is 6-8mph with gusts to 12mph. The RH will remain low.

Peter, thanks for your insight.  My friend and I will be there for learning how to operate new equipment and for visual observing only, not astro-photography or any other critical activity.  So some wind shouldn't bother us too much.  (So say I naively, having not experienced moderately windy conditions in a long time.)
