I took the images for this timelapse in 2022! I forgot how dark it can be there. Anyway, finally found some easy software to make this timelapse after it kept failing in Photoshop.

Eyepiece: Tele Vue 3.7 mm Ethos
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max

I kept the 18 in UC steady and let the Moon drift across the field of view of 3.7 mm Ethos.

Wow, amazing colors, do you recall acquisition details? What was the software that was finally easy to use?

I used a canon dslr and a kit lens set wide. About 300 exposures at 20 seconds each and made the images in to a video with Virtual dub. I followed the instructions in this video.

Some might see it as an issue but I actually kinda love the effect of the really bright stars changing shape as they move from the edges to the center due to coma
