There is a telescope in the 2026 film Project Hail Mary.

What is it?

A note on the film, this tour de force in movie making is on a level that hasn't been seen or felt in possibly the last 20+ years.

The telescope shown in the Project Hail Mary movie is the real‑world Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory (MRAO) near Cambridge, England.

And the space imagery in the movie is the work of astrophotographer Rod Prazeres: https://rpastro.square.site/s/stories/phm
