I'll be set up in the Field Of Dreams at Lake San Antonio, Thursday, May 7. Will be observing until Moon rise 1:30am and stay over night, packing up the following morning. Ed Hauter is tentatively coming, too. Should be a mild night time temperature and dry.

I hope the dew stays away for you.

Thanks!  Will be first lighting a new to me TEC 180FL (I bought Arvind K's 180FL two weeks ago) on a Mach2 and Avalon T-Pod Max.

Aw man. I’d love to see and look through that scope. Take a photo and post it when you’re set up! It will be first light (kinda, I looked at Jupiter through the clouds last week) for my little 5”, compared to your 180,  apo.

Cancelling LSA. I'm concerned about the forecast for higher humidity/dew or fog setting in by midnight. That would leave only 2.5 hours of good skies for that longer drive. I'll go to closer-to-me Pinnacles which will be dryer.
