I just took a look at 7:40 PM with the comet at 17° elevation, viewing from the beach at Pajaro Dunes near Watsonville. Even with the 1st quarter moon casting prominent shadows and noticeable extinction from the marine moisture, A6 Lemmon was surprisingly bright in my 12x36 Canon IS binoculars. Its fairly prominent tail is now pointing straight up (perpendicular to the horizon) with a length of roughly 2.5°. Quite an unexpected view in these conditions.
