Out in my backyard to test my new setup, and over the root in the West is about as nice a pairing of the two brightest planets you could want.

The closest separation between Venus and Jupiter during twilight will be on Monday and Tuesday nights — about 3 Moon diameters — but the view will be quite striking the next 4 nights.

Sun: 2.3°
Mon: 1.7°
Tue: 1.6°
Wed: 2.1°
