For Sale: Obsession Telescope 18" (New Revised)

I purchased the Obsession 18" for $5,700 in January 2002. I'm the first owner. NOVA Optional Systems made the 18” main mirror, and a certificate of optical quality, Ronchigram for 18” f/4.5. Serial #10-01-1253.  Coating Type: Enhanced Aluminum. Date: Nov. 2001.  I checked the main mirror and secondary mirror; they still look in good shape. I didn't give them for recoating.   I used this 18" at various star party places like Shingletown Star Party, Bumpass Hell, Henry Coe State Park, Anderson Lake,  and Fremont Peak State Park, and some others for about 3 years. Once, my telescope fell during a strong twister at Lake San Antonio in 2003. It is a tiny crack on the top wood ring, but everything is working well today.  It comes with the encoders, but there's no controller, so you would need a 'push-to' system to use them. My telescope was out of use for a long time after the summer of 2005, because of the odd jobs I took on.  I take care of it so well; it keeps a dust-free storage box for over 20 years, and it looks like new. I decided to sell to anyone to enjoy the beautiful skies with the Obsession 18".
