Property buy by LSA

I did some math on the $2000 land purchase idea and someone would have to go to LSA once a month for almost 4 years. Plus get a portable to the site which LSA already has which are cheap plus the haul away fees.

Add in hunters and any unwanted visitors and the 10 scale observing site totals take a hit too hard for my understanding it seems. Better to support LSA. Plus it would not be but point zero something darker, for now. 
In a few years with Paso growing somewhere around 2,000 homes, get back to me on that 'same darkness'.

The "rent vs buy" math is often more about convenience and options than it is about saving money.

In this case, the argument for buying would be the ability to install improvements - concrete piers, a real building (with septic, water tank), solar panels and batteries, etc. Of course those would require additional investment, and without frequent supervision could be destroyed by vandals. 

All that said, I only get down to LSA a few times a year at best, so I'm with you - supporting the park is the clear choice for me.
