Nova approaching naked eye visibility in Lupus

Last night on Mt Tam using 7x50 binocs I observed Nova V462 Lupi. To my eye it appeared just a tick dimmer than mag 5.8 HR 5624, which is about 20' to the south. So my estimate for the nova is about 5.9.
