Thank you for filling out the American Astronomical Society (AAS) survey about the anticipated impacts of Reflect Orbital, a new satellite company that proposes to deliver sunlight as a service by launching thousands of mirrors into low Earth orbit.   The AAS is informing you about an opportunity to sign a letter by DarkSky International to Reflect Orbital and its investors expressing concern about the provision of sunlight as a service and proposing specific actions.  In addition, we expect that the Federal Communications Commission might open a public comment period on the application within the next few weeks, and we will be in touch about how you can submit a comment on the proposal.
