I’m planning to go to Fremont Peak for some observing and imaging tonight. I’m thinking of using the SW lot. Being my first time at the Peak, if any of the regular users have tips to share or words of advice, I’m all ears.

I’ll be at the observatory.  Look me up if you have the opportunity.   I’ll do likewise.

Thanks Jeff! Looking forward to meeting you in person. But I’m not a member of FPOA, would I be allowed to walk up to the pads and look for you?

I don't think I can leave the home before 630p today; making my ETA ~8p. Would that be too late to join in?

I’ll be imaging, but if there’s any visual observers be mindful that bright headlights after astronomical dark will probably not be welcome. Maybe turn lights down before entering the lot.

Same for me, I will be imaging and not too overly worried about being blinded 😉

Hey Francesco. Reading your question too late for a useful reply, but for the record, you can walk all over the Peak to your heart's delight. The gate in front of the ranger's house, on the road up to the Observatory, is for cars.

It's an old practice on the Peak, strolling over to another lot to see who's there to bother!
You'd also asked for hot tips for Peak users. Only tip you might not know at this point is that Coulter Row is good in the wintertime, when there aren't campers behind that row. Has fancy horizons to the south.

Here's a handy astro map for the Peak.
