in Mt Umunhum, and my airbnb.

this evening, just after sunset, I was trying to capture C/2024 E1. When I checking the camera screen, I smelled something awefully stink but not very strong (from the ground). and felling some sharp pain in my neck, I thought it was my coat tag. later found out ants are biting me. I jumped around and got rid of most of them , from my shoes, socks, pants, shirt and coat. then stopped capturing and escaped the site.

Sounds like you were caught in the Ant Nebula.

Inspect the ground you set up on first. Most likely you have set up right over the "ants freeway" with the "ants city" or "farm" nearby :)

havent seen freeway or city, or ranch XD, they are just scattered around :(
