Tonight's WX looks bad, but Astrospheric likes tomorrow's chances.
Anyone thinking of taking advantage of the 3-day weekend (if you have
it) to observe tomorrow night?

Probably going to Henry Coe tomorrow night, Sunday.  Will be there with a friend; will be his first time out on the hills.

I can make Coe Sunday night. I might leave around 2/3 AM or stay the entire night, currently undecided on that. For clarification this is the overflow lot?

I’m tentatively planning on observing at Lake Sonoma on Monday night as the forecast looks quite good at this point (above average seeing and excellent transparency). I’ll post a more definite OI tomorrow.

I had the same take on the sky for Saturday night; Sunday looks/looked better.

I’m tentatively going to FPOA pads Sunday.

Some altitude would be nice….
At sea level on the peninsula I was seeing like 40F and 85% humidity at 9pm last night.
Forecast for FP was 50F and less humidity.
However, I’m not sure if the forecast for clear sky will hold. At this point, Monday night looks better that Sunday night. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What do you even have left to observe Steve?

Jeff,
Sunday weather forecast for FP is for cloudy skies Sunday evening.  The Monday forecast looks more promising. I plan to observe from a FPOA pad on Monday evening.  Last Wednesday at FPOA offered us very transparent skies but came with gusty winds >15mph by 10pm.  Monday will be more humid than last week's dry weather.

Anyone confirmed going to Coe tomorrow? Forecast looks like it soured quite a bit. I have a huge backlog of images to work through and some imaging train issues so I’ll likely stay home based on that forecast. If there’s a big group I’ll probably change my mind.
