Question about group etiquette - offering something for sale

Hello all,
I'm hoping this isn't a terrible breach of etiquette...
I'm located in Contra Costa County and I was going to list a piece of
furniture for sale on Craigslist - but I figured since everyone here
is (relatively) local, I might see if someone here was interested in
it.
It's a very large and very heavy library card catalog with 120 drawers
(60 on the front, 60 on the back). I've been using it to store all
kinds of parts and knick-knacks, but need to make some room. If
interested, please e-mail me for pictures and info.

You might try TechShop or Noisebridge - Noisebridge is where half my
darkroom gear is going, and they seem enthused.
