I FOUND IT!!!!! (the return of Blue)
Emma Kpop
new Charactor. Staci. She's adventureous like Emma but there are some
subtle difrences.
While Emma spends her day duitifuly clinging to Jenny and dreading
what tomorrow brings Staci only clings to her daddy or her mommy or
one of her uncles and only when afraid or not wanting to do something.
Stace's full name is Anastasia like the princess. (Yeah stupid HBO
family been running that movie so much I've learned to imitate batrock
that little white bat that helps Rasputin. Long story.) I think it's a
beautiful name that suits her. Her middle name is Elizabeth after
myfavorite doctor on ER. The only time anyone can call her by both
names is when she's really asking for it or when she's getting too
close to something that would do her harm. Or when she's giving her
mommy and daddy greif of corse.
This will be an N.Y.P.D. Blue fanfic. I think it'll go a little bit
smoother then the last time I tried as I won't be working (much) with
such a complex Charactor. (And you gotta admit those of us who've
tuned in time and again Andy is complex. Ofcorse Sylvia knew that and
SHE married him so.......)
This takes place mid Third season. Maybe early fourth. Gotta give
myself plenty of room to work.
THis is also a work of fiction. Now I don't own these Charactors
except my Staci so I feel I must thank the good people at FOX
Brodcasting for giving me such a wonderful show and outstanding
Charactors to write about. (And yet they can't release the damn fifth
season ARGH!!! HURRY UP DAMN IT!)
And before certain people like Kath or CK get on my ass I know Bobby
Simone dies in the 5th or 6th season on the show. But this is a FANFIC
I can change things in the story a bit! It's made up! After all I got
John Kelly back with Janice. Which proves my point but people here are
always reading with their head up their you-know-what even if
unintentionally.
Let's get on with it before I lose my nerve.
"Changes" A N.Y.P.D. Blue story.
It was early morning in the 15th Dective Squad. At the P.A.A. desk
John Irvin sat already busy with phone calls that seemed to start the
moment he set foot on the stairs and hadn't stopped since. He still
managed to say good morning to everyone as they passed and hand them
their messages between calls still it was going to be a busy day it
was barely 8am and he already knew that.
Dect Bobby (Robert) Simone came in durring a breif lull in the phone
calls with his girlfriend Dianne Russell at his heels. Bobby walked
quickly as they were running late but Dianne seemed more intrested in
questioning him then getting to her desk.
"Morning Dectives" John said cheerfully though they both could tell he
was relived the phones stopped ringing non stop.
"Morning John" Bobby said smileing as John handed him his messages.
"Yeah moning John..." Dianne said distracted as she took her messages
from him. Without even looking at them she turned on Bobby. "Why?" She
said frowning.
"Dianne I told you already we can't be doing something like that. "
Bobby said sighing tiredly.
"Bobby I'm just worried. She's not ready to be a mother we have to
help her and the baby." Dianne countered back. Sometimes she felt
Bobby was impossible.
"It's a matter for Social Sevices Dianne!" Bobby said a slight growl
in his voice. He turned to say more and saw the look on her face. She
looked like a sad five year old though she was an adult.
"Alright." Bobby said softly as he nodded. "Alright Di. I'm sorry.
We'll go check on her at Lunch and see how she's doing." with that he
patted her arm and headed for his desk.
"What's wrong Dective Russel?" a voice asked interupting Dianne's
thoughts.
"Huh? Oh. Nothing John a friend from high school moved to the city
she's got a baby but Duggie said that she's already tried to abandon
it twice. He's buddies with the baby's father."
"Why doesn't she just leave the baby with the father then?" Jill
Kirkendal asked as she headed up the steps. "Morning....." SHe added.
"Morning." Dianne said to her partner as John handed Jill her
messages.
"They're not together he left her." Dianne said.
"Huh?" Jill asked looking up from her messages then under her breath
she added "Damn it DOn...." Don was her Ex.
"The baby's father left my friend." Dianne explained. "WHat's Don done
this time?"
"Acording to this message he can't take my boys to their Dentist
apointment." Jill said sighing.
"Men!" Dianne said shooting an amused look in Bobby's direction.
"I heard at Di!" Bobby said but he was grinning.
"Morning!" Another voice said. Bobby looked up hopeing for it to be
his partner Andy but insted he saw his boss Lieutenant Arther Fancy
who everyone in the squad seemed to call "Lieu" for short.
"Morning boss." Bobby said "What's up? I haven't seen Andy this
morning he normally gets here before I do."
"Oh" Fancy said "Andy called in a bit ago and said Theo's sick. He's
got to take him to the doctor. Sylvia's catching today but just untill
eleven this morning then she has to meet Andy at the doctor."
Bobby nodded. "Listen Lieu I need to talk to you about
something......."
"Can't it wait?" Fancy asked. "We're getting a new Dective today and
he's due here any moment. "
"New guy eh?" James Marteniz said smileing. "Great we'll show him the
ropes he'll be an old Pro at the job in no time!"
Fancy sighed. "He's not that kind of new James."
Just then there was an audiable gasp from those who had been around a
long while. Fancy looked up and smiled. "And there he is..."
James looked up and smiled. "It's John Kelly! Andy's old partner!" he
rushed over leaving a smileing boss behind.
"Hey!" Greg Meadavoy said when he saw John. "Welcome back! Y-Y-Y-you
are back right? THis isn't just a visit?"
"I'm back." Kelly said smileing. "And you should have seen the look on
the rat squads face!" The rat squad was what they called I.A.B. .
Greg laughed and even Fancy smiled.
"So where's Andy? I thought he'd be here knowing I was comming back."
"His kid's sick" Bobby said then offering his hand he added "I'm Bobby
Simone."
John took Bobby's hand and shook it. "I'm John Kelly. I was Andy's old
Partner."
"I know." Bobby said. "Lieu can I talk to you?" he added pratically
dragging his boss into the office.
Once inside with the door closed Bobby sighed. "Why? I don't want to
leave here I thought I was doing good. Heck Lieu I made First Grade
less then two months ago!"
"Bobby he's replaceing Adrianne. You're staying. He'll be partnered up
with James or Greg or you and Andy now and then." Fancy said smileing.
"Lieu about what I wanted to talk to you about. I feel I have to be
honest. "
"Go ahead Bobby."
"Lieu I've asked Dianne to marry me again an this time she said yes."
Fancy smiled. "Congradulations. Just don't let it take away from the
job."
"I won't boss." Bobby said as he left to9 return to his desk.
Apon returning he noticed Dianne was gone. "Hey Where'd Dianne go?"
"SHe went to see her friend." John Irvin said. "She'll be back. Jill
went with her.
"Aw man I told her we were going at lunch!" Bobby said annoyed.
"But Dective Simone. It's not a social call. " John Irvin said.
"Then what is it?" Bobby asked with a sinking feeling.
"Her friend was killed."
"Oh no......" Bobby said grabbing his coat "I've gotta go!" he was
out the door before anyone could call after him.
When he arived at the crimescene The first thing he saw was a uniform
doing the canvas.
Inside he found the body and the M.E. and on the couch to his relief
he saw Dianne holding a baby they both were crying and Jill looked
ready to start too as she held Dianne close.
"I've got her Jill." Bobby said. Jill nodded and patted Dianne's
shoulder and went quietly to help with Canvas.
"Bobby I'm sorry. I got the call and I rushed out here. I didn't know
she was D.O.A. I just kew she was hurt I was worried about her and the
baby."
"I know " Bobby said. "It's alright. Is the baby ok?"
Dianne nodded holding the fussing baby. "She's alright. I don't even
know her name. I can't even tell her it's going to be alright or that
her mama's dead in a pool of blood."
Bobby nodded. "Wait here." He said going outside .
Outside Bobby Jogged over to Greg Medavoy who had heard what happened
and came running to help. He had two girls of his own and knew
Dianne's pain.
"Greg can you stay with Di and the baby a second? They're inside."
Greg nodded "Sure Bobby. I-I'll watch over them." he was looking pale.
He hated murders that had kids involved. He hated all murders and
crimes but these were the worst for him being a dad and everything.
"Bobby this is Mrs Smith. She lived next door to the D.O.A." Jill said
leading a visably shaken brown haired brown eyed lady over.
"Is Staci ok?!" Mrs Smith blurted out before Bobby could even tell her
his name or how sorry he was.
"Staci?" Bobby asked Dianne had said her friends name was Karen.
"The baby..." Mrs SMith said.
Bobby nodded "Yeah the baby's fine. Dective Russell and I will take
her to Belview to get checked out in a few minutes."
While Jill got Mrs Smiths infomation Bobby returned to where he left
Dianne.
"Her names Staci." Bobby said.
Dianne nodded. "Little Staci don't cry. Your mommy was hurt but I'll
take care of you."
Bobby's mouth dropped open. "Dianne.............I............"
Dianne looked up "Bobby she doesn't have anyone! Karen was my best
friend I owe it to her!" Tears filled her eyes and flowed down her
cheeks. She sniffed once.
"Alright." Bobby said. "Alright. We'll take her to Belview to be
checked out and I'll reach out to Social Services and see if we can
get temporary custody."
"Tempoary?? But Bobby.........." Dianne said.
Bobby sighed and shook his head. WHy did she have to argue??? He
looked her in the eyes and said something that so far he never had to
say to her at work.
"No Butts but your own Di." He said calmly and firmly. "If you don't
stop arguing."
Dianne nodded and blushed three shades of red and Bobby had to turn
away to keep from laughing.
"I need to get her things..." Dianne said "Will you hold her?"
Bobby nodded and held out his arms and smiled as Dianne placed the
baby in his arms.
"So..." He said looking down at the baby. "So you're going to be our
baby for awhile it looks."
Ofcorse Staci didn't answer she was just a tiny baby but she looked up
at this new person and cooed happily.
"Now don't get me wrong. Your Aunt Dianne's a good woman. You couldn't
ask for a better Foster Mom but sometimes she likes to argue with me.
I gotta look out for her and keep her in line you know?" He said
stareing down at the baby.
Staci cooed and made baby sounds looking at him seriously.
"Hey Di? I think she really knows what I'm saying." Bobby said amazed.
"Yeah does she know you can be a pain in the butt sometimes?" Dianne
teased returning with a full diaper bag and more baby toys then Bobby
had ever seen and he was a brother!
"Does she really need.......???" Bobby asked trailing off realizeing
what she said. "Watch it Dianne. I'm only a pain in your butt when I
gotta be."
Dianne grinned "God I love giving you a hard time!"
Bobby laughed and the three headed outside.
"Aw you three look like a family already!" Jill said giving Dianne a
wink.
"Don't you start...." Bobby said wearily but he was smileing.
End of part one.
So what do you think? Now the Squads got two Johns. Ofcorse Fancy will
end up calling them John and Johnny especially when Janice shows up
and calls John Kelly that LOL!

I did it! I found it! I found Blue part one! now all I got to do is rewrite two (It's a lost cause lol) and I'm DONE! at LAST!
