I've set up this Google group as a temporary expedient until things
are resolved. If a new home is found, then I will delete this group,
meanwhile it will provide a clean method of communication.

Using the old ass Usenet group has a significant spam problem. Using
flag such as ZZZ which is non-standard or {ASS} which is standard only
works for people with real news agents and a news server.

Management is not difficult and several others have volunteered to
help moderate the group. This should be easy once the initial opening
rush of member is dealt with.

To handle the group web site I have already suggested getting an
account on ASSTR. Until we learn of the result of Pablo efforts for
someone to take over the existing setup, this should be deferred.

And thanks to Pablo and many others for their hard work and
contributions.

I see that you signed up for the e-mail option. If Agent is your e-
mail agent for the registered e-mail than it should happen. If you
use another e-mail agent then it won't unless you transfer files
manually.

Unfortunately, Google does not run a traditional news server for its
own groups.

I've set up the group as open as I could meaning you can post and read
without joing like with a Usenet group. Should we have problems I
will make adjustments.

Mary, you have posted with a different e-mail than you have joined
with. That is set up to receive e-mail of post here. This addy is
not.

Members can edit their membership by click on the Edit my Mmebership
link.

Im sorry my laptop is being fussy on me, what do yo mean?
 I know that I changed my email from my yahoo email over as I don't check that one very much anymore
to my comcast email because I have that one set up to come in directly to my microsoft expressions program.

You are set to get emails from the group but not at the addy you just
posted to.

You can change that by edit you Google Groups profile.

Thank you YLee :) I got it fixed now, I haven't really used the new google and it was annoying to get straigtened out but it is now :) so now I will get an email sent to my inbox once a day from the group :) Is there going to be a contest this year?
