Hello everyone and a warm welcome to all my new subscribers. It's nice
to see an influx of new readers, I hope you enjoy our little
newsletter.

FREE ONLINE COURSE:
Have you been to www.sew-whats-new.com lately? If not, then go now.
There on the right hand margin is an ad for a free 7 day online mini
course. It is taught by Singer experts. I would love to know if anyone
has tried these lessons and what your opinion is. Remember, it is
free!

SEW INTRIGUING:
Recently while surfing sewing blogs I stumbled upon an excellent
tutorial for shirtmaking. This lady really knows her stuff. There are
all sorts of good advice and tips on interfacing, fabric placement and
details about collars and cuffs. Loads of photos too. Her husband is
the lucky recipient.

SWAP WINNERS:
I am a bit late with the winners but here they are with all their
commentaries and photos. Julie of Timmel Fabrics hosted this wonderful
event. What a talented group of ladies.

TIMMEL FABRICS CLOSING:
After a lot of thought and soul searching, Julie is closing Timmel
Fabrics. Her lovely fabrics will be missed by a lot of people, myself
included. If you have seen anything you would like to have, now is the
time to grab it before it is too late.

What is your favourite online fabric source? How do their fabrics
compare and what about the prices? Send them along to me.

NEED ADVICE:
I will be moving in the months to come. This means packing up a sewing
room that has been my joy and comfort for ten years. You can imagine
the job ahead. Any and all tips for packing up fabrics, notions (lots
and lots of them), patterns are very welcome. Send them along and I
will share them with everyone next week. I have reduced my stash
considerably and actually used some restraint in the buying of new
fabrics. That was no fun, let me tell you. Email me your stories about
moving and packing up a sewing space. mar...@gmail.com

In the meantime, visit http://sew-whats-new.com and view some of the
latest videos that are on the site. I hope you are all enjoying a
little of the spring weather, so please stay well, have some fun and
happy stitching to you all.
