Hancock's is closing!

[Stephanie Fuentes]

Hi everyone,

I was in Hancock's yesterday and our store in Wheat Ridge is officially closing. The company couldn't find a buyer, so they are liquidating ALL stores, not just the ones Judy told us about on the list at a prior meeting. It will take 2-3 months to liquidate the inventory at the warehouse to all of the stores, and then they will close. Stock up, everything is 20-30% off now, and increasing discounts will come. They aren't taking any coupons due to the liquidation. I'm very sad to see this happen - I've been going to this store since before I could sew as a small child.

The staff are pretty broken up about it too, and will need to find new jobs when the store closes, so if you know of something, tell them.

What?!  I was just in there a couple of weeks ago and the manager assured me that no stores in our district were closing.  ARRRGH!
