The squares on the bingo board should be filled with numbers 1 through 10, along with other bowling outcomes like strike, gutter, spare, etc. During the bowling game, each player will mark off their bingo cards as each bowling outcome happens. To make it more interesting, provide prizes for the winners.

The bowling relay race is a game that requires skill and agility. Experienced bowlers will take their time in order to play their best. No reason to rush when you are trying to get the best score you can. Well, this bowling variation takes all that and throws it right out the window.

Split up your bowling party into teams and get two lanes right next to each other. Players try to roll the bowling ball as fast as they can. After each player completes their bowling, they pass the baton stick to the next player. The first team to get through all their players wins.

Playing cards can be collected until the end of the 10th frame. With every strike or spare, you collect a card. With the cards collected, each player or team will try to make the best poker hand they can. The team or player with the best hand at the end of the game wins.

Split off into two teams. While one member of one team bowls, another member reads a trivia question to the other team. The other team tries to answer the question before the first team is done bowling. For each question answered correctly, 2 points can be added to the end of the team score. You can buy weekly trivia packets online to use while you bowl.

The rules are simple. First, divide your group into teams (the more the merrier!) and secure two lanes next to each other. Then comes the fun part: instead of carefully aiming for strikes or spares as in traditional bowling, players must roll their ball down the lane as quickly as possible!

This process continues until every member on both teams has had a turn. The first team whose last player rolls their ball wins! Remember though; this game requires speed AND accuracy because gutter balls still count for nothing!

In conclusion, Superlatives is not just about winning but also about having fun and creating memorable moments. So next time you plan a family bowling night, give this wacky idea a try and let the good times roll!

If crazy bowl variations are what tickle your fancy then brace yourself; challenges such as slow-motion bowls will test both patience and technique whereas playing with anything-but-your-hands throws keeps things interestingly awkward.

I'm trying to work through some of my emotions, so I thought it might be fun to share some of The Queen Bee's past birthday parties this week. Hopefully they will give you a little spark of inspiration. Please keep in mind that these all happened MANY, MANY years ago. More tears. Part of me wasn't going to share them because they aren't anything particularly special, but I'm keeping it real here. These are long before Pinterest, Blogs, and Instagram. I can only imagine how much more overboard I would go these days. More tears. Why can't they just stay little????

Let's start this week off with the Sassy Strikers Bowling Party. This was such a fun party. I designed a "bowling shirt" for each girl. The girls bowled and played arcade games and we ate cake and greasy bowling alley food. How could this not be a party?

Below I've shared a couple of pictures from our party and some other sites that I've linked to with other great bowling party ideas. Click on image to enlarge. Click on links below for more information.

3. Parents.com This link has great party ideas including explanations for a fun game like one we did. The kids are giving different directions on how they have to bowl that turn, like walking like a duck or backwards. The kids loved this!

help please !
I have 2 cakes due this week , one a bowling theme for a girl and one a boxing theme for a 16 year old boy . I can't find any decent images for either , I have googled and searched until my eyes are blurry
Does anyone have any images or cake pics to share ?
Thanks Cathy

If you go into the gallery and click on Search and type Bowling there are a few cakes there. I didn't see anything for boxing but what about creating a square cake and then making ropes and making it look like a boxing ring. you could even put people in the middle. Or make a cake and mold some boxing gloves and put them on the cake. Just some ideas. Good luck

Here are 2 bowling cakes that I did. One is with an edible image and one with the sports ball pan. Both for girls. For the boxing...I would do a small square cake on top of a sheet cake and make it look like a boxing rink.

Many years ago our kids asked "why don't I build a bowling alley" and finally I've completed it. When I started building it I wanted to have all the features of a typical bowling alley and design it in such a way that there were a number of ways to play with it (even for the big kids).

If you've been a big fan of the Chipotle Burrito Bowl for as long as you can remember, here's how to make it at home! As you all know I am a huge fan of making delicious bowls for lunch. So much that I dedicated an entire section to bowls in my easy lunch ideas roundup. In short, I love all bowls. I love Poke Bowls, I love fish taco bowls, and most of all I love this DIY Chipotle Burrito Bowl. It is legit a weekly go-to in our house.

We've always been big fans of Chipotle in my family. We would stop at various locations in junior tennis days between matches! That continued through college, where I ate at Chipotle on a regular basis because it was a fast option, and there was guacamole. These days, I still want all the goodness of a Chipotle Burrito Bowl, but I'd rather make it at home!

The DIY Chipotle Burrito bowl is a delicious nutritious bowl and easy to make. They are ready and on the table in 30 minutes, which means they are the perfect meal for a busy weeknight, and you can always count on them being a crowdpleaser. Bonus points for how easy they are to customize to each individual persons preference.

If you're cooking for a group that has different dietary restrictions or for picky eaters, this copycat chipotle chicken burrito bowls Is going to be your best friend. You can serve the chicken, rice, and all toppings separately and let everyone assemble their bowls with whatever they like. They are truly one of my favorite easy dinner ideas that allows everyone to recreate their go-to chipotle burrito bowl order from home!

Step 5: Place the chicken in a large zip top plastic bag and add the marinade. Zip the bag and mix the chicken into the marinade. Place it into the fridge and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

Let's talk about the chicken in this chipotle burrito bowl recipe, which is bananas. It's THAT good. The secret to how it's so flavorful is the marinade. I recommend letting the chicken marinate for at least an hour, but you can also prep the chicken the night before or the morning of when you plan on cooking it by placing the chicken with all the marinade ingredients in a zip top bag and letting it marinate in the fridge until you're ready to cook it. Seriously don't skip this step. It makes a world of difference.

Then when you're ready to cook it, throw it on the grill or on a cast iron skillet to get a nice sear on it. After it's finished cooking, let it rest for 10 minutes to lock in the juices before cutting it up into small bite sized pieces.

Next up is the rice. This is the base of our bowl, so we're adding a little bit of pizazz to some basmati rice with a garnish of cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime juice to take it to the next level. This cilantro lime rice is the key to building all the flavor and where all the magic happens. I promise once you try it, you'll never go back to plain rice.
