As a Business Development and Marketing Intern we see the following
tasks to be an ongoing part of your involvement in our organization:
> Aiding in the execution on a fundraising plan, being a point person for donor contact.
> Drafting grant proposals.
> Contributing to and drafting marketing documents, donor communications and content for our
newsletter, blog posts and other publications.
> Compiling collateral materials.
> Researching donors of other impact investing foundations.
> Engaging with other social media outlets on behalf of Beyond Capital Fund.
> Researching and networking with potential donors and being responsible for broadening the
Beyond Capital Fund donor network.
> Researching foundations/organizations connected to the financial and legal sectors.
> Updating prospect list quarterly.
> Updating existing donors on recent developments.
> Working on ad hoc projects related to business development, marketing, public relations or
other areas of Beyond Capital Fund’s operations.
> Working closely with the Investment Team (Board, Due Diligence Committee and Advisory
Board) in order to communicate effectively with donors and in the
media.
> Liaising with our partners to help maximize our relationships.
> Working efficiently and in an entrepreneurial fashion. In addition to completing assigned tasks,
the Summer Intern will be expected to bring ideas and content to the
Board on his/her own
initiative.
> Believe in the Beyond Capital Fund strategy and vision.

Please note this is a part-time non-paid internship. Conference calls
and timely e-mail correspondence will be an important and frequent
part of your work.
