Echo Liu - Finding your Passion to Change the World

Ms. Echo Liu finds her inspiration from a quote by Bertrand Russell,
"Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my
life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and the
unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.”
During her presentation she will share about her experience of
starting and growing her social enterprise and how she overcame
various challenges by being driven by her passion.
Get inspired and learn about social entrepreneurship by her story and
experience!

About The Speaker

Ms. Echo Liu is the founder and visionary of Hand Affection, a social
enterprise connecting rural silver artists with urban markets. The
organization was registered in 2010.
She has a Master Degree in Development Economics from University
Ghent, Belgium. She worked as Vice Principal of Guobin Institute in
Beijing China and was Project manager of MAGIC Marketplace in the
United States.
She also volunteered for several NGOs such as OCEF (Overseas China
Education Foundation), and the Library Project during which she was in
charge of projects in the Guizhou Area.
