About the TEINA study
The Transportation Electrification Needs Analysis study highlights charging infrastructure gaps, and proposes solutions to help accelerate widespread multimodal transportation electrification in Oregon. The study was completed in 2021. A follow-up study, Hydrogen Pathways, was completed early in 2022.
The TEINA advisory group’s 17 members represent utilities, local governments, nonprofit groups and the auto industry.
Earlier this year, the Climate Office began a study on charging needs and other support required to advance the use of electric micromobility vehicles (bicycles, scooters, etc.) in Oregon. The office expects to complete the study by early 2023.
