Washington Clean Car Choice Coalition Members and Friends;

 

Great news: SB 6354 passed the Washington State Senate yesterday with a 46–3 vote and now heads to the House. The bill will be heard in the House Transportation Committee tomorrow, March 5th, at 8:00am.

 

As a reminder, SB 6354 creates a pathway for established ZEV-only manufacturers to obtain Washington dealer licenses and sell directly to consumers, provided they operate an in-state service facility and have at least 300 vehicles registered to Washington residents before January 1, 2026.

 

We’re so grateful for all the time and support you’ve brought to this issue over the years. As the bill moves in the House, it’s helpful for committee members to see how broad coalition support is for expanding zero-emission vehicle purchasing options in Washington.
