Yeah this project has been unveiled now in Charlotte NC but was built locally. Myself, Pat McCue, Charlie Tsai, Hans Larson and others were involved. Will have a big presentation on it with pics and video at the May SEVA meeting!

Here’s some details I can share; 900V pack, peak amps over 2,600, pack is about 32kWh, dual Helix custom motors (producing 1200HP each!) a 5-speed Liberty racing transmission, big slicks in the rear. This car was built from the ground up as an EV with a custom tube frame and mostly carbon fiber body so it’s much lighter than previous iterations. It is making an honest 2,200HP at the rear wheels!

Tim, the 5 speed transmission is a beefy special built Liberty drag racing transmission designed for the extreme power and high RPMs and it uses a clutch but is air shifted.

The 1978 F100 SEMA truck was brought out of storage and used to tow it to the starting line!
