Port Angeles has looked at EVs for police and there isn’t a good electric option today.

Of course a Model 3 is too small. But a Model X would more likely be big enough. Testing a Model 3 was a forgone conclusion.

There are far better police domestic vehicle platforms in the pipeline than the current Tesla offerings.
