(1) Skiing:
Most likely will have a group rate at http://www.cascademountain.com/
($56 lifting and rental instead of $76, including free kids lifting:
http://www.cascademountain.com/skiboardgroups.php ) (Most probably we
all need to be there at 11:00am to get the tickets, unless everybody
prefers 11:30am).
(2) Hotel and Water Park:
We have contacted various hotels w/ a water parks in Wisconsin Dells
(Kalahari, Red Wolf, Wilderness, the Atlantis etc.). No matter which
weekend (Jan 16, 23, 30) we pick, January is pretty busy for the
hotels / water parks. Great Wolf only gives $10 off $199 price for
group rate. Group sales manager for Wilderness is out for vacation –
we will contact the hotel again next week (their web site displays $99
group rate).
Living in hotel w/ a water park is optional. But if you like to have
you and possibly your family to have fun in a hotel w/ a water park,
let us know your best choice and your acceptable choices. Who knows,
we may still get a good group rate.
(3) Dining:
Again it is optional. If you like, join us for a wonderful seafood
buffet at Chula Vista (some of us have been there). It provides
wonderful crab legs and other foods, for a decent price ( $20-$25,
once we got $5 off on the back of our skiing ticket).
(4) More Fun:
If some of us are still energetic, we can bring Chinese chess, Ma
Jiang, Poker etc.
Please respond before/on Jan 6, 2010 if you would like to join the
event.
(1) Do you prefer 11:00am or 11:30am to be there?
(2) Do you want to have a day/night of fun at a hotel with indoor
water park? Your best choice (if you have one in your mind)? Your
acceptable choices? (we may or may not get a meaning group rate here,
it would be around $200 per night without must discount).
(3) Are you interested in joining us for a wonderful seafood diner?
