Unfortunately my phone is my work provided phone and we are not allowed to root them, so GPS is blocked to all profile programs for me.  Profile Scheduler is pretty good so far.  It seems a bit more reliable switching between profiles based on location and knowing if I'm connected to Bluetooth in order to NOT swtich to my home.  There have been a few times where it switched back to a previous profile because it didn't trigger the next rule properly, but I think it's more of me tweaking to fill in the gaps for those 'in between' moments as far as rules go.  But so far it's easier than many others and can do quite a bit.

As I wrote in another post I've abandoned many apps I've tried due to lack of rules similar to SP. I'm still playing with AutomateIt. Just stumbled on another one: MacroDroid. Also looks promising. More similar to AutomateIt or Tasker than SP though.

I tried upgrading to CyanogenMod 10.2 (Android 4.3) today and it
automatically removed Setting Profiles. I tried reinstalling it from the
app store but it wouldn't install. I tried restoring it from MyBackupPro
but it said the apk wasn't installed after the restore.

Please provide a new version that works with Android 4.3.

Todd: I see you mentioned Profile Scheduler. I've tried that in the past. I
like the interface. However, do you use it to turn on GPS? If so, how do
you get it to work? My phone is rooted so I use Secure Settings with SP to
turn GPS on and off but Profile Scheduler doesn't seem to offer this or any
type of features for root access. Thx.

FWIW, GPS only uses power when an application requests GPS info. So rather than disabling it through profiles, just manage when applications that use GPS run.

For years (through Motorola Droid, HTC Thunderbolt, and now Galaxy S4) I have left GPS enabled all the time. It has rarely shown up in battery usage stats as consuming power (and usually only when I open the maps or Inrix traffic apps).
