Nexus 4 - Airplanemode does not work

Hi, I am using the tool for about 2 years (Pro version) on my HTC Wildfire (good old phone) and now I bought the Nexus 4 (Android 4.2.1)
On my Nexus 4 I would like to use the same features, but at least one does not work:

I have a profile "Stand by" which mute the phone and turn the Airplanemode on.
Muting is working fine but the Airplanemode does not work, the airplane-symbol does not appear in the notification-bar and WiFi as well as GSM/UMTS are still connected.

Is there a known bug or can I do something different which will work on N4?

I believe that android 4.2 doesn't allow an app like SP to turn on airplane mode. You might need to root your phone and use something like secure settings app.

It seems that Airplane mode can not be set directly by 3rd party apps anymore on Android 4.2. The "Power Toggles" has the same problems and created a workaround by adding a shortcut to the system settings,

Same problem with Samsung Galaxy Note with CM10.1

I confirm. Jelly bean restriction, not SP.
Need root + secure settings with helper.
Works fine. (don't forget to install helper from secure settings AND to check secure settings as device administrator in system settings/security.
