We've assembled a comprehensive list of the best She-Hulk issues, with record sales and minimum values for each. If you have any of the good ones, or other comics to sell, then use the button below to begin the free appraisal or offer process.
The She-Hulk came to be after lawyer Jennifer Walters sustained an injury from a gun-shot wound from a local crime boss. It was in retaliation to her father who was a Los Angeles County Sheriff. The injury required a blood transfusion for which her cousin, Bruce Banner, provided the blood.
This gave her similar features to the Incredible Hulk, such as the green hue, surreal strength and the ability to grow in size. Unlike the Incredible Hulk however, She-Hulk maintains much of her personality as Walters, and is able to contain her rage and keep her intelligence. She does gain super strength when angered and eventually her transformation becomes permanent.
She-Hulk has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, the Defenders, the Fantastic Force and S.H.I.E.L.D. The superhero can be found making appearances in several of the Incredible Hulk issues as well.
She-Hulk is also able to use her wisdom and experience as a former lawyer to aid other superheroes with legal problems. Another notable characteristic is her propensity to break the fourth wall for the purpose of humour and to add to running gags.
She is also arguably the strongest woman in the Marvel Universe when sufficiently angered, and her hand-to-hand combat skills are impeccable, as she was trained by none other than Captain America himself. Her body is astonishingly durable and impervious to pain and disease, and her skin can withstand virtually any temperature and puncture wound.
The She-Hulk is being brought to the small screen in 2022 with Marvel Cinematic Universe and Disney+. The TV series will be simply entitled She-Hulk, after the superhero who will be played by actress Tatiana Maslany.

Debuting in 1980, Jennifer Walters (aka SHE-HULK) has long been a staple of Marvel Comics, having been a card carrying member of The Avengers, Fantastic Four, The Defenders, and even a hero for hire. However, it was her second solo title from 1989, THE SENSATIONAL SHE-HULK, where we first fell in love with Jen. Written and drawn by jolly John Byrne, the book is notable for John's gorgeous art, playful storytelling, and Jen's regular breaking of the fourth wall.
In one of the earliest instances in the medium, we had a character who was fully aware they were in a comic book (sorry, Deadpool), and would often talk to the readers and her own book's creative team. It was a blast to read, and we're excited to offer a new screenprinted poster of John's iconic premiere issue cover.
Additionally, we've also got a new poster for SHE-HULK #5 by friend of the family (and 2022 Eisner Award winner for Best Cover Artist): Jen Bartel! Jen is one of our favorite artists around, and she has been crushing it with her covers as of late (see again: Eisner winner), including a stellar run of Shulkie covers in her latest adventures in the pages of SHE-HULK by creative team Rainbow Rowell, Roj Antnio, Luca Maresca, and Rico Rensi.

The first appearance and origin of the Incredible Hulk in "The Coming of the Hulk." Script by Stan Lee, pencils by Jack Kirby, inks by Paul Reinman. 1st app. Rick Jones, General Ross, and Betty Ross. It's the height of the Cold War and the government is about to test their new Gamma Bomb. Unfortunately, a carefree and oblivious teenager named Rick Jones wanders out onto the test area. Dr. Bruce Banner, the creator of the Gamma Bomb, rushes out to warn the young man away. However, the bomb explodes and as Banner pushes the teenager to safety he is caught in the heart of a Gamma maelstrom. The gamma-rays that bombard Banner's thin frame transform his physiology. Now, whenever Banner becomes angry he transforms into the man-brute known as the Incredible Hulk. Feared by the public and hunted by the army, the Hulk becomes one of the most tragic figures in Marvel's history. General "Thunderbolt" Ross will not rest until the Hulk is destroyed. The creature's only allies are Rick Jones and Betty Ross, Thunderbolt's daughter and Banner's one true love. Thus begins the epic saga of the world's mightiest mortal. NOTE: Notice that the Hulk was colored grey for the first few issues of his series. In an interview, Stan Lee (creator) said very simply that the reason for this was that grey was the easiest color for the copiers of the time to print. When the technology got better the Hulk became green, and according to Stan, for no better reason than they didn't have a green hero in their stable yet.Cover price $0.12.
