Lost data from "repair" woopsie, recovered data folders from shadow copy get deleted on startup

I love this extension, and I got within inches of losing years of sessions.

I was able to find copies of my .blob and .leveldb data folders from a few days before my/Chrome's missteps, but the instructions for a manual restore of V4 data don't seem to work for me. I've tried permission adjusting, and even full Chrome profile data restoring (which totally breaks Chrome now).

When I delete the existing chrome-extension_edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko_0.indexeddb.leveldb folder, and then paste-in my old .leveldb and .blob folders, they instantly get removed and replaced with a data-less .leveldb folder at Chrome or SB Extension startup. I can't find a way to package these folders in the compulsory .json file format the "restore" function requires, so I'm at a loss. Any help is much appreciated!

I guess my problem isn't something anybody else has experienced, and/or is worth your time. I'll write-off those years of sessions and call it a learning experience. It's better than continually getting emails from this group giving me false hope that you've responded.

Sorry about that. We get a lot of support messages through multiple channels and simply don't have the bandwidth to respond to everyone. Sometimes a nudge helps.

Not sure how you recovered the .leveldb/.blob folders, but it's important for them to be complete (all original subfolders/files). File recovery tools typically aren't able to do this.

If you want to zip up the two folders and send to sup...@sessionbuddy.com, I'll have a go at trying to extract an importable file for you.
