I did search this user group and saw there were similar requests back in 2018 (
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/sessionbuddy-discuss/eCdPa-d0oT4 ). And I understand this is not core functionality so it might not justify further dev work. Given that 2019 really saw major adoption of Dark Mode interfaces across Google's product line, and computer OS's have also moved in that direction, this has been a real sea-change in the user experience people have now in using the web. I don't know the level of effort required to implement those kind of display controls in Extension Settings pages, but I'd like to just ask if you are considering it. Given the importance of this extension for helping users control and manage their total web-browsing experience, I can say for myself I would be wiling to pay for such an upgrade option.
If you know for sure this is something you do not plan on delving into, then could you pleae answer this baseline question? For Chrome Extension based settings pages, which for Session Buddy has the URL:
chrome-extension://edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko/main.html , does the nature of this kind of extension page make it inherently difficult to offer an alt-theme?
I have used the global extension "Stylus", along with the companion library of styles at
userstyles.org, to turn various web pages into dark mode, and I have noticed that the many styles that are offered as Global Styles across Google Products do not have any effect on Chrome Settings pages. If there IS such a way to make such changes, I would love to know. Thank you for all the excellence of this product.
